Timothy Olyphant appears in a smaller supporting role in the movie as Snowden's CIA superior in Geneva, whose shady tactics in getting a key asset to cooperate lead Snowden to resign.

Timothy Olyphant revealed he and his wife had a chat about the possibility of her joining the cast and they decided the experience could be a good summer job while she was on break from college.

But Olyphant — who is the father of three children with his wife of nearly 20 years, Alexis — doesn’t seem to be dwelling too much on workplace politics.
