The winners of the Galway City Gardens of the Year Awards 2023 have been revealed and a Circular Road resident has been crowned overall winner for the second-year running.

Galway City Council says there's been a 60% drop in the volume of dog fouling detected, as a result of a trial campaign in five areas around the city.
