Y'all, we're headed back to the prairie! More than four decades after the original series ended, Netflix announced plans to reboot the beloved television series, Little House on the Prairie.

She has acted intermittently since NBC's Little House on the Prairie ended — most notably, starring in the series' TV movie Little House: The Last Farewell in 1984 and the 2021 film Not to Forget.

Little House on the Prairie aired for nine seasons from 1974 to 1983 and was based on Laura Ingalls Wilder’s semi-autobiographical books about growing up in the American West in the late 1800s.

Melissa Gilbert, the star of the 70s hit "Little House on the Prairie," helped share the new child star who has been cast as Laura Ingalls in a Netflix reboot.
