Grand Strand Fishing Report for the weekend of Oct. 9-11, 2020: Fishing off Myrtle Beach area piers has been good with Spanish mackerel and bluefish being caught.

On Wednesday, angler Jason Milam caught his first king mackerel, a 25.60-pounder, from the Apache Pier. That makes 65 kings landed from the Apache Pier during 2019.

"Boats really can't go between them. Fish can swim through them but larger, let's say a manatee or something would need to go around the outside to be able to get through," Setchell said.
