The Wavegarden Cove technology will be able to create over 20 types of waves for surfers in the 5.5-acre lagoon. The project is being developed by Beach Street Developments.

The latest plan calls for 1,200 apartment units, down from 1,600 in prior proposals, along with 1 million square feet of commercial space, a hotel and convention center and the lagoon.
