It was a decision Camdyn Harris, a student at Stonewall Jackson Middle School, said he's been waiting to hear for weeks - the Kanawha County Board of Education voting to change the name of his school.

Last week, the city removed statues of the general Stonewall Jackson and Matthew Fontaine Maury, a naval officer. On Tuesday, it was J.E.B. Stuart’s turn.

There seems to be some controversy about removing Stonewall Jackson’s statue at the Virginia Military Institute. For well more than 200 years, people of color were bought and sold.
