Gov. Kevin Stitt praised the effort to get the new data center in Stillwater, pointing to the economic impact the tech giant has already made on Pryor, which already has a data facility.

The Stillwater Date Center Project is a plan which allows the development of at least one or up to six data center facilities that are valued at $500 million per facility or $3 billion overall.

Members of Stillwater’s First Presbyterian Church, which is located near the Government Center, “enthusiastically support the project,” said Rev. Cader Howard, the church’s pastor.
