The UAW said Monday it has more than 24 open grievances against Stellantis regarding the company’s product and investment plans disclosed as part of the union’s contract with the automaker.

Stellantis says UAW isn't giving it credit for investments announced in 2022 and 2023 in Indiana. It also declines to say where Durango will be built.

The move will put about 1,500 UAW-represented employees back to work. Stellantis will also move forward with plans to build the Durango mid-sized SUV at its Detroit Assembly Complex.

The UAW previously said Stellantis had committed to the Belvidere additions as well as Durango production in the union's new contract, reached in 2023 after a six-week strike.
