Willie Wright, 83, from Staithes, near Whitby, was found on the rocks in Staithes harbour on Monday evening after he had been reported missing from home earlier that day.

A new flood alert has been issued this morning (Sep 27) for the North Sea coast, from Staithes to Whitby, including Sandsend and the tidal River Esk.
