The New York Yankees have a clear need at third base and could swing a trade with the St. Louis Cardinals to fill their hole in the hot corner.

The St. Louis Cardinals are fortunate to still have third baseman Nolan Arenado as a member of the organization. No matter what happens throughout the rest of the season or in the offseason couldn't take away from this fact.

Both the team and the player have done a commendable job of putting Arenado's failed trade saga in the rearview mirror.
