On May 13, Alex Pidhorodeckyj of Peekskill, landed a fantastic 4 lb. 1 oz. fallfish from the St. Lawrence River near Massena, beating the 2009 record of 3 lbs. 9 oz. by half a pound.
The New York State record for muskie is a 69-pound 15-ounce monster caught by Arthur Lawton in 1957, also on the St. Lawrence River. That fish didn’t have a recorded length.
