Splatoon 3 is available for the Switch and playable on the Switch 2, and the new weapons and Urchin Underpass map will appear alongside the 10.0.0 update on June 12, 2025.

The new Splatoon research report from Squid Research Lab video also unveils that a free update for Splatoon 3 will be available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on June 12, 2025.

Switch 1 and Switch 2 Splatoon 3 players will still be able to play together. Plus, all weapon Freshness caps will be raised and players can earn new in-game Badges, Nintendo said.

Splatoon 3 Season 10 launches June 12, adding 30 new weapon kits, Urchin Underpass, and more. New Series Weapon Power stat will enhance matchmaking, with improved visuals on Switch 2.
