SOUTH BEND, IN (WSBT) — A long-time summer staple in South Bend is almost gone. The Potawatomi Park pool is set to be demolished, and some upgrades are planned in its place.

The YMCA wanted to make sure the repairs were thorough and not rushed so the pool could be used reliably for years. The YMCA is aiming to reopen the pool in downtown South Bend in June.
