An NYPD dive team is back in the East River near Roosevelt Island on Saturday searching for a 15-year-old girl who reportedly went missing in the water the day before, police said.

The occupants of that truck then allegedly opened fire on the Miata, striking it several times with gunfire. The driver of the Miata, 79-year-old Coleman Joshlin, was shot in the attack, leaving him seriously injured. Joshlin was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
