The defense for former Letcher County Sheriff Shawn “Mickey” Stines filed a motion to unseal his psychological evaluation.

Mullins, 54, who held the judgeship since 2009, died at the scene, and Stines, 43, surrendered minutes later without incident. He was charged with one count of first-degree murder.

Mullins, who held the judgeship for 15 years, died at the scene and Stines surrendered without incident. Stines could face the death penalty if he's convicted of the murder charge.
