The NBA star is at the Shaolin Temple in China for a 10-day spiritual retreat, focusing on Shaolin Kung Fu and reflection. Unlike typical NBA visits, his journey emphasizes cultural exploration and healing after a challenging season marked by injury.

The 21-year-old San Antonio Spurs star is in “closed-door martial arts training,” an employee at Shaolin Temple in central China told NBC News.
