The first truck wasn’t able to slow down in time, so police say he grazed the other truck, overcorrected and drove through several lanes of traffic, hopped a curb and hit the abandoned hotel.

“In the country, there’s only 313,000 commercial truck parking spaces, but we have 3.5 million commercial vehicles, so obviously, the math does not add up,” he said.
