Avengers: Doomsday is currently set to arrive in theaters May 1, 2026 and Secret Wars arrives about a year later in May 2027, so unfortunately, we’ve got a lot of waiting to do before we can see ...

"Avengers: Doomsday" is now slated to hit theaters Dec. 18, 2026, and "Avengers: Secret Wars" will be released Dec. 17, 2027. Both films were previously planned for May in their respective years.
To match, the follow-up “Avengers: Secret Wars” is moving its release to Dec. 17, 2027, after previously being set for May 7, 2027.
Assuming the MCU follows a similar arc with its version of Secret Wars, the reboot of the “Sacred Timeline” will be a death of sorts of the MCU as we’ve known it.
Despite Robert Downey Jr. being cast, any temptation to show his face should be saved for Secret Wars, where, like in the comics, we finally get to see what the villain is hiding.
Luckily, Marvel recently published a massive hardcover Secret Wars omnibus edition that collects the entire run and several tie-in issues, and it's on sale for just $69.20 (was $100) at Amazon.
