Pasadena City College was founded in 1924 with 267 students. Today, it has more than 20,000 and offers nearly 150 associate degree programs.

The event, scheduled to take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at the Octavia E. Butler Magnet School auditorium, is an annual address required by the Pasadena City Charter.

More than 4,000 Pasadena City College students comprise the school’s Class of 2024 – nearly 60% of which are women, according to the college.
