The Sandusky High School football team and other athletic squads will sport a new logo for the 2022-23 school year after the Board of Education voted to retire the Redskins mascot.

One potential option the school board discussed was a patch of the old logo placed on team jerseys. The Redskins was the Sandusky High School nickname from 1940 until its retirement in 2022.
