Henderson Fire initially started 5:45 p.m. May 30 in San Diego County. Since its discovery two days ago, it has burned 256 acres. A fire crew of 169 has been working on site and, by Sunday evening, they managed to contain 80% of the fire. However, the cause is still under investigation.

The Henderson Fire sparked shortly before 6 p.m. on Friday, near the intersection of Henderson Road and Pala Mission Road in San Diego County, according to Cal Fire. The fire has burned 256 acres and is 95% contained, Cal Fire said.

All evacuation orders that were previously issued have since been lifted and the fire is now nearly 100% contained.
