MIAMI SHORES, FLA. (WSVN) - A carnival of caring has become a tradition in Miami Shores, as St. Rose of Lima hosts its 69th annual church carnival this weekend.

Rose was born on Aug. 29, 1769, in Grenoble, France. On the day of her baptism, she received the names Philip, honoring the apostle, and Rose, honoring St. Rose of Lima.
