CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4) - The statue at the Saint Francis Assisi Church has been shattered during the Christmas season. "What Saint Francis stands for is peace, charity," Father John Kalabokes said.

The 30th Field Artillery Regiment Association held a contest to select an artist and design for the statue. Bolen submitted a drawing of the saint looking tough enough to do the job.
