There is several things to do at Saguaro National Park located in Tucson Arizona. Beyond activities, the park itself protects one of the true icons of the American West, the giant Saguaro Cactus.

Saguaro National Park is actually two parks, separated by a metropolis of 1 million residents. In 2017, the park drew nearly 965,000 recreational visitors, Florez says.

Eight saguaro cactuses were slashed and cut down at Saguaro National Park, the park said. Cactuses are an “icon of the American west,” National Park Service said.

The cactuses were found in the Scenic Trailhead of the park’s West District, according to officials. "Tucson, Arizona is home to the nation's largest cacti," the park's website reads.
