SAN JOSE – Veteran winger Tyler Toffoli knows several people affected by the devastating wildfires in the greater Los Angeles area and is happy the City of San Jose and the Sharks are doing their part to support firefighters and first responders.

General Manager Mike Grier announced today that the club has claimed forward Walker Duehr. Duehr, 27, has appeared in 16 games with the Calgary Flames this season, registering one assist. He appeared in a career-high 40 games with the Flames in 2023-24,

Less than 24 hours after the Calgary Flames placed forward Walker Duehr on waivers, the San Jose Sharks put in a claim and the 27-year-old will be on the move to northern California. Duehr played 16 games this season,

The San Jose Sharks claimed right winger Walker Duehr off waivers from the Calgary Flames on Wednesday, reports Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman. Through 16 games with the Flames in 2024-25, Duehr has recorded one point and a minus-six rating.

On Tuesday, the Calgary Flames had placed forward Walker Duehr on waivers with the intent to send him down to the Calgary Wranglers of the American Hockey League. However on Wednesday, the Flames lost the forward when the San Jose Sharks claimed him off the waiver wire.
