RUSK — Officials and community members gathered at Rusk State Hospital to celebrate $200 million worth of renovations to the East Texas mental health facility.

Operating since 1919, Rusk State Hospital offers inpatient adult psychiatric services to people in 36 East Texas counties. The hospital serves an average of 270 people annually.
