The meeting’s Royal Procession tradition celebrates its 200th anniversary this year. The dress code for many of the Ascot racegoers is top hats and tails for men, lavish dresses for women.

This year is extra special as it marks the 200th anniversary of the first Royal Procession, when the royals arrive at the Ascot Racecourse from Windsor Castle by horse-drawn carriage.
