Heart-pounding video captured the moment a giant wave swept a girl off a seawall in Australia and into the rough water below – with her father immediately jumping to her rescue.

The Japan Coast Guard confirmed that passersby helped the woman from the water at Cape Zanpa, where she went missing around 4 p.m. while snorkeling, according to a news release Oct. 12.

According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the 53-year-old was on Sailboard Beach at Lake Pueblo State Park yesterday afternoon when his children and their friends went into rough water.
