ROSEAU, Minn. (Valley News Live) - A town known for its rich hockey history recently got the recognition they deserve after one of their rinks was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The history of indoor ice rinks dates back to the 1890’s. The Roseau Memorial Arena has been open since 1949. Todd Peterson with the city of Roseau gives us the history.
