People travelling on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway were stopped for about 30 minutes while fire crews tackled the blaze on the line between Dymchurch and Hythe.
Part of New Romney station is currently awaiting repairs. Tickets start from £7.50 for a child and £15 for an adult for the shortest 20-minute journey between Hythe and Dymchurch.
