Following a vigil for a detained imam in Cincinnati, marchers walked on the roadway of the bridge, where they were met by police. At least 13 people, including two journalists, were arrested.

A large group of protesters crossed the Roebling Bridge shortly after 8 p.m., starting from the Cincinnati side and heading toward Covington, according to web camera footage of the bridge.
