Nicholls gets his fingers burned when an old flame of Robin's turns up at the restaurant. Robin deserts the nest and moves in with his father-in-law.

This annoys the owner of the steak house next door and he makes a take-over bid for "Robin's Nest". Nicholls wants to sell and persuade Robin to move to smaller premises.

But then they meet young Robin Tripp. When their landlord has to sell-up for redevelopment, Robin and his two female flatmates organise a petition to their local MP.
