The Rhea County Golden Eagles defeated the Soddy Daisy Trojans 34-0 in a Tennessee high school football game on Friday. Rhea County jumped in front of Soddy Daisy 27-0 to begin the second quarter.

Mr. Smith, a Dayton native, was a student-athlete while attending Rhea County High School in the 1980s and began his professional career at La-Z-Boy directly after high school.
