The Boston Red Sox have been without Alex Bregman since he sustained a quad strain. He is working his way back, but still has some hurdles to clear.

The Red Sox quickly went down 7-0 to the Yankees after two innings, and Bregman figured his team needed a vibe shift. So, he went into the locker room and shaved his mustache off.

The Yankees battered Buehler, now a starter for the Boston Red Sox, in their series-opening 9-6 win. They scored seven runs (five earned) on seven hits and two walks against Buehler, who lasted only two innings.

The last time Walker Buehler was on the mound at Yankee Stadium prior to Friday night, he watched as Alex Verdugo swung through a knuckle curveball. That swing-and-miss clinched the World Series for Buehler’s Los Angeles Dodgers.
