One of the (if not the) best parts of the 2025 Academy Awards, host Conan O’Brien, will be back for round two in 2026. The Oscars announced the news on Monday morning, just over two weeks after O’Brien took on the gig for the first time.

American television host and comedian Conan O’Brien, who hosted the Oscars for the first time on March 3 this year, will be returning as the award ceremony’s host in 2026, the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences announced on Monday.

Next year O’Brien will also be surrounded by a familiar team, with Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan returning as executive producers of the show and Jeff Ross and Mike Sweeney as producers. Academy CEO Bill Kramer and Academy President Janet Yang said in a joint statement that it’s an honor to be working again with the group behind this year’s broadcast.
