Bay Area folk group Rainbow Girls is hosting open mics on Outside Lands' Duboce Triangle stage to kick off each afternoon.

The open mic nights will be held the fourth Wednesday of every month through October from 7-9 p.m. “We’re looking forward to get this started and getting more events downtown,” Krawtz said.

Red Room Lounge's open mic takes place every Monday at 8 pm. The event is open to all genres, including music, performance arts and comedy. The venue also hosts weekly art vendors.
