Open Outlook.com. Sign in to your Outlook account. Click on your profile name. Tap on the profile picture icon. Select your Outlook account. Click on the Add a photo button.

From our own previous investigation, we know that the mugshot itself is authentic. The Microsoft Outlook 2010 default profile icon is also authentic; it can be found on an official Microsoft webpage.
