SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif.– The USDA Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit announced the sale of Christmas tree permits for the Lake Tahoe Basin begins Monday, Nov. 6, 2023.

It's that time of year again to continue a family tradition or start a new one of cutting down your own Christmas tree as permits will be on sale in the Lake Tahoe Basin on Nov. 6.

Avon Lake: Dec. 4 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Avon Lake Public Library, 32649 Electric Blvd. North Ridgeville: Dec. 5 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Sandy Ridge Reservation, 6195 Otten Road.
