Machinists represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers have ended their strike.

About 3,000 machinists at jet engine-maker Pratt & Whitney in Connecticut have approved a new four-year contract, ending a three-week strike over wages, job security and other issues.

The agreement addresses concerns surrounding wage growth, retirement security and job stability, the IAM union said in a statement.
