Port Arthur was chartered on May 28, 1898. So, the 125th anniversary, also known as a Quasquicentennial, will take place this year, according to a news release from the City of Port Arthur.

Model train enthusiasts can view exhibits and purchase items during the three-day show running Friday through Sunday at the library.
