Called “Max Out,” the new season brings Dynamax Pokémon to the game, the supersized creatures that debuted in Pokémon Sword & Shield. They can be fought in Max Battles and caught, naturally.

According to Pokemon Go, the Dynamax Suicune Max Battle Weekend will take place from May 10, 2025, at 6 AM through May 11, 2025, at 9 PM local time.

Dynamax Pokemon will be released early in the Max Out season with the GO Big event on Tuesday, September 10, at 10 AM local time. The initial event runs through September 15, 2024, at 8 PM local time.

Look for Dynamax Pokemon to hit Pokemon GO in September as part of the game's Max Out event. Ideally, Niantic will have more details on how exactly this all works by the time that event begins.
