A medical helicopter made an emergency landing Sunday in a Smith County field. "Rescue 7 was transporting a patient from Hattiesburg to Jackson when the air ambulance started having mechanical issues. The pilot had to make an emergency landing near SCR 57," Smith County Emergency Management said on social media.
