THUNDER BAY — Chippewa Park is set to have another busy summer of family-friendly events and activities for its 104th year.

The area behind the pavilion will be closed for a month to allow grass to take root. Swinging benches facing the water are one big draw. The playground got a new slide, play structure and swings.
