The new pizza's base is inspired by the chain's garlic bread, with a garlic-Parmesan crust and topped with five cheeses.

So far, Papa John's hasn't announced a release date for the pizza in the U.S. But, they're teasing the new item on Instagram, so that's a good sign that plans are in the works.

The opening of Papa John’s would be the brand’s return to Wisconsin Rapids. The pizza restaurant first opened in June 2000 at 1040 Eighth St. S., in the former KFC building.
