In June 2019, fears of a mass shooting quickly spread through the crowd attending a Pride parade in Washington, D.C., which caused panic and a stampede as people fled in all directions.

That noise caused people to panic and "stampede" outside of the building. Dallas PD confirmed there were multiple non-life-threatening injuries but again clarified that no shooting took place.

“This noise contributed to panic inside the building, prompting people to rush outside in a stampede. “There were multiple life-threatening injuries during the chaos,” police said.
