Swallowtail is the latest addition to Palmer Forest Reserve’s 14+ miles of mountain bike trails, which include Leelanau’s first flow trail and several trails for beginners and intermediate riders.

Getting there: From Palmer Park's entrance off Maizeland Road (3650 Maizeland Road), follow past the Grand View Overlook turn, up to where the road bends and meets the dirt road on the right.
