Osceola County celebrated the long-anticipated development of the Westside Technology Park on Thursday with a ground-breaking ceremony held by District 1 Commissioner Peggy Choudhry.

“It’s going to be such a difference in Osceola when it’s all said and done, it’s going to be a blessing to see it renovated, it’s been a long time coming,” said Ephlin.

The park is best known as the site of the annual Osceola Music Festival. The event on tap for this August will mark the town’s 41st. Still, some feel the park is underutilized the rest of the year.
