Nvidia passed Microsoft in market cap on Tuesday, once again becoming the most valuable publicly-traded company in the world. Nvidia's growth has been fueled by its AI chips, which are used by companies like OpenAI to develop software like ChatGPT.

Nvidia last became the most valuable company in January this year and has been competing with Apple and Microsoft for the top position since mid-2023.
