PARIS (AP) — Notre Dame is reopening its doors for the first time since a fire in 2019 nearly destroyed Paris' beloved 12th-century cathedral.

Millions watched on television in horror on April 15, 2019, as plumes of fire shot up from the Notre-Dame de Paris, one of the world’s oldest and most celebrated cathedrals.

LEGO announced on May 7 a LEGO set of Notre-Dame de Paris, joining the ranks of LEGO’s models of world-famous monuments, including the Taj Mahal and the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Notre Dame will also put on “ Exceptional Concerts ” featuring “20 international soloists, 15 guest orchestras and choirs, 12 grand organ recitals,” through 2025.
