With a G-scale rating predicted to be at 3 on Sunday, some green coloration may be visible in northern portions of the U.S., according to a forecast from NOAA.

(NEXSTAR) — A severe geomagnetic storm could bring the northern lights and possible technological effects to the U.S. to start the week, NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center has warned.

If you live in an area that, at least according to the forecast, should be seeing the northern lights, but you can’t see them, you may want to try using your phone to catch a glimpse.
